Sports Camp 2006

This year 157 children came to camp to enjoy sports,
camaraderie and to listen to the good news of Jesus.

Our 6th Sports Camp year was a smash!

We were especially blessed by our own community this year as the number of St. Albert volunteers zoomed to an all time high of 25 people. We felt truly humbled at the response and bless the Lord for providing willing hands and loving hearts in our own community.

Incredible as it may seem, for the third year in a row, 14 of our our friends at Southern Hills Baptist Church showed up to help out again.

Also joining us were 3 student missionaries from Missouri (one of them for the second year) and 2 student missionaries from Texas.

We again were truly humbled by all who volunteered their time to help with Sports Camp and hope your week was filled with the Lord's blessings.

It was great to see everyone again at the Family Night BBQ and we saw many of you renewing friendships from our community and

fellowshipping with our volunteers over some great burgers and desserts.

The kids love the thematic aspect of the daily morning assembly and this years' Lifeway theme was Game Day Central, "where heroes are made". Catchy music and great decorations aside, the message dealt with heroes of the scriptures and was well received by the kids.

We're glad you all had so much fun and we welcome you back again in July 2008.
