Vision Statement:
Joining God in a chur
ch planting movement

Core Values

“Core values are of no value unless they reflect God’s values.”
                                                                                Our Daily Bread

We value the inspired Word of God to have authority in all areas of church and personal life .
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof,
for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may
be adequate, equipped for every good work.
II Timothy 3:16,17

We value dynamic personal and corporate worship
“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.”
John 4:23

We value a passion for personal and corporate prayer
With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view,
be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.
Ephesians 6:18

We value living holy lives
…Be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written,
“You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

I Peter 1:15,16

We value healthy, loving relationships that reflect our relationship with God
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
I John 4:11

We value every person having access to a New Testament church, united in purpose and teaching
…Until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the
Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature
which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

Ephesians 4:13

We value every person hearing the message of Jesus Christ in a manner that they can understand and relate
For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, that I might win the more.
To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all, that I may by all means save some.

I Corinthians 9:19, 22

We value every member of the church being empowered by God’s Spirit to join Him in His kingdom work
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

We are affiliated with the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists.

About the Canadian National Baptist Convention

The Canadian National Baptist Convention, formerly called the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists was organized in Kelowna, British Columbia on May 8, 1985. Churches from Victoria, British Columbia to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island voluntarily associate themselves with the convention to build the kingdom of God across Canada and around the world.

CNBC churches are autonomous and hold the Bible as the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. Each congregation is made up of baptized believers who covenant together in obedience to Jesus Christ, the head of the church.

Although churches are autonomous, God leads them to cooperate to achieve what would be impossible were they to attempt it alone. Congregations contribute through the Cooperative Program to provide a funding channel to take the good news around the world.

The CNBC mission is to help churches build the kingdom of God. We measure our success by the success of our churches. God has given us a vision to start 1,000 healthy, reproducing churches by the year 2020. We see this vision as a promise from God that originated in His heart and will be accomplished by His power. Our responsibility is to join Him in what he is doing and to give Him all the glory.
